Friends,

Names are peculiar things. We have no say as to what names are given to us. We'd like to think it's just a  sequence of letters that don't really mean much. Yet, we all like it, when somebody call us by our name. 

God calls his children by name:

"Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. 

For I am the Lord your God. The Holy One of Israel, your Saviour." (Isaiah 43, 1-3). 

Amongst a world of turmoil, when many fear the future, God is calling all, individually by name, and as a global community, to turn from doing wrong, to remember HIS commandments and do them.

Above scripture never promises smooth sailing. Only that HE will be with us, no matter what.

The antidote for fear is LOVE. God is love. Anyone following HIS ways has nothing to fear.
